47To deepen the integration of industry and education, promote school-enterprise collaboration in talent cultivation, and accurately align with industry talent needs, recently the School of Accounting of Guangdong Baiyun University and Asia Pacific Pengsheng Finance and Taxation Group (hereinafter referred to as “Pengsheng Group”) held a school-enterprise cooperation symposium and the signing ceremony for the “Pengsheng Elite Class”, along with a campus recruitment drive. Dean Ma Liying of the School of Accounting, Party Branch Secretary Li Jianhua, Vice Dean Zhou Qian, Vice Dean Tong Bocheng, Deputy Party Secretary Yang Xianjun, Managing Partner Zhu Yiping of Pengsheng Group, Fan Fuping (Head of Puxin International Shenzhen), HR Director Cao Jing, and Office staff Wu Yongfeng attended the event.

At the symposium, Dean Ma Liying, on behalf of the School of Accounting, warmly welcomed the Pengsheng Group delegation and gave a detailed introduction to the school’s discipline development, faculty strength, talent cultivation, and achievements in industry-education integration. She stated that the school has always focused on cultivating high-quality applied accounting talents, and this cooperation is an important step to deepen school-enterprise collaboration and optimise talent development models. She expressed the hope that both sides would leverage the “Pengsheng Elite Class” as a platform to share resources, complement each other’s strengths, and jointly cultivate industry talents. Zhu Yiping, Managing Partner of Pengsheng Group, introduced the group’s development history, business layout, and industry trends, and highly recognised the school’s educational philosophy and achievements. He pointed out that the group, having been deeply involved in the finance and taxation field for many years, urgently needs high-quality professionals. The “Pengsheng Elite Class” will, by leveraging the strengths of both sides, customise training programmes, co-build curriculum systems, share faculty resources, and provide students with a fast track to internships and employment, thus achieving a precise match between talent training and job requirements.

Subsequently, the two sides signed the cooperation agreement for the “Pengsheng Elite Class”, marking a new stage in school-enterprise cooperation. The Pengsheng Class will adopt a dual-track training model combining “academic education and vocational training”, incorporating industry practice courses and enterprise case teaching, with joint instruction from both school and enterprise faculty. This will help students consolidate their professional foundation and enhance practical skills, building a pool of high-quality reserve talents in the accounting field. After the signing ceremony, Pengsheng Group also conducted a campus recruitment drive, offering quality positions in auditing, taxation, valuation, and cost estimation to graduates of the School of Accounting and related majors. The recruitment site was well organised, with in-depth exchanges with graduates and a lively atmosphere, providing students with a high-quality employment platform.

This event is a vivid practice of Pengsheng and the School of Accounting deepening industry-education integration and promoting school-enterprise collaborative talent development. It not only built a bridge for in-depth cooperation but also provided strong support for students’ growth and high-quality employment. In the future, Pengsheng will continue to deepen the connotation of school-enterprise cooperation, innovate talent training models, and deliver more high-quality applied accounting talents for regional economic and social development.
