Leaders from Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Statistics Visit Pengsheng for Research and Guidance

On the morning of June 5, 2024, Liu Xinsheng, Deputy Director of the Shenzhen Municipal Statistics Bureau, Zou Hao, Deputy Division Chief, Wang Qi, First‑level Principal Staff Member, and Zeng Shiqin, Statistician, visited Pengsheng for research and guidance. Zhan Guanpeng, Director of the Accounting Department of Shenzhen Municipal Finance Bureau, and Jia Shanshan, staff member, Mai Bingzhi, Deputy Party Secretary and Discipline Inspection Secretary of the Shenzhen CPA Industry, and Tong Mengyi from the Party Office, accompanied the research visit. Our firm's Chief Partner Yang Buxiang, Managing Partner Zhu Yiping, Quality Control Head Ouyang Zhuo, Office Director and HR Head Zhan Hong, and Chief Assistant Zhao Yaqi participated in the research symposium.

Chief Partner Yang Buxiang first extended a warm welcome to the leaders and expressed sincere gratitude to the Municipal Statistics Bureau, the Municipal Finance Bureau, and the Municipal Institute of CPAs for their long‑standing care and support for the firm's development. He then introduced Pengsheng's current development status and market and industry conditions. When discussing industry risk control, Yang Buxiang stated that as important participants in the market economy, accounting firms bear the significant responsibility of maintaining market order and protecting investors' rights and interests. Therefore, risk control is the top priority of the firm's work. He also emphasised the critical role of talent in industry development, noting that talent is the firm's most valuable asset and the primary driver of sustainable development. He called on government departments to introduce more policies conducive to retaining talent, providing strong support for the industry's long‑term development.

Deputy Director Liu Xinsheng praised the achievements of Pengsheng. He pointed out that although Shenzhen has a large economy, the development of supporting high‑end services is relatively lagging behind. The municipal government attaches great importance to the development of high‑end services and plans to draw on the approach used to support industrial development to promote the growth of high‑end services.

During the research visit, Deputy Director Liu Xinsheng emphasised the importance of audit work and placed expectations and requirements on Pengsheng Certified Public Accountants. He encouraged Pengsheng to continue strengthening its internal capacity, improve service quality and professional standards, and provide more accurate and reliable professional services for Shenzhen's economic development. At the same time, the government will increase support for high‑end services, introduce relevant policies, optimise the development environment, attract more outstanding talent to the high‑end service sector, and jointly promote the high‑quality development of Shenzhen's high‑end services.

This research visit fully demonstrated the government's attention to and support for high‑end services, and also pointed the way for Pengsheng's future development. Pengsheng will earnestly implement the leaders' instructions, continuously enhance its capabilities, and make due contributions to Shenzhen's economic development. It is believed that with the care and support of leaders at all levels, the high‑quality development of Shenzhen's high‑end services will usher in an even brighter future, injecting new momentum into the city's prosperity and progress.
