Internal Learning Exchange Meeting of Pengsheng CPA Firm Concluded Successfully

Following the 2020 National Partners Conference, on October 30‑31, 2020, partners and project managers from various branches and the headquarters gathered again in Shenzhen. One hundred representatives of Pengsheng gathered at the Shenzhen Accounting Training Institute for a two‑day internal study and exchange meeting.

1. Learning new standards, moving towards the frontier of constantly evolving knowledge.

The standards and regulations in the auditing and accounting industry are constantly being updated and revised, with various standards undergoing frequent amendments in recent years. On October 30, Mr. Qi Chunsheng, who has deep research on accounting standards, explained the new standards on leasing, debt restructuring, and non‑monetary asset exchanges. Mr. Qi pointed out that accounting standards are changing rapidly, and everyone should always maintain enthusiasm for learning, continuously update their knowledge, and provide more forward‑looking audit services to enterprises.

2. Standardising working papers and enhancing risk awareness.

On the afternoon of the 30th, Mr. Chen Youliang, Chief Reviewer of Pengsheng, explained the internal audit working papers to all attendees, emphasising the need to raise risk prevention awareness and truly serve as "economic police".

3. Building a learning‑oriented organisation and constructing a business learning subsystem.

On the morning of the 31st, Mr. Jiang Zi'an, Managing Partner of Pengsheng, gave a presentation on the theme "Building a Learning‑Oriented Organisation and Constructing a Business Learning Subsystem," focusing on three aspects: building a CPA business learning subsystem, emphasising research on the conceptual framework of financial reporting, understanding the trends in accounting standards changes, and implementing project management for listed company audit services. Mr. Jiang pointed out that, first, building a CPA business learning subsystem is the entry point for Pengsheng to become a learning‑oriented organisation; second, we must attach importance to the research and application of the financial reporting conceptual framework, which serves as a bridge between the past and the future, and possess strategic management capabilities and experience; third, we should actively explore how to more effectively implement project management, grasping the "stakeholder" management as the key to audit project management. The attendees expressed their agreement with these views and showed willingness to participate as members of the learning groups.

4. Embracing financial auditing in the big data era and addressing risk assessment audit working papers.

On the afternoon of the 31st, senior CPAs Mr. Chen Haiqiang and Ms. Tang Xianfeng respectively presented "Financial Auditing in the Big Data Era" and "Risk Assessment Audit Working Papers."

Mr. Chen pointed out that with technological advancements, AI has impacted various industries. As auditors, we must respond to the constantly evolving market; we should not only possess audit and financial knowledge but also a certain level of system architecture knowledge. The attendees spontaneously formed study groups to prepare for future exchanges on system software and other related topics.

   Ms. Tang shared risk assessment audit working papers based on her actual case experience, explaining areas where problems commonly arise in audits and illustrating the methods used in those cases. The attendees engaged in discussion and exchange, and everyone expressed that they had gained a great deal.
