Wan Wenxiang, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy Secretary-General of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and his entourage visited Pengsheng for research and guidance.

On the afternoon of December 19, 2023, Wan Wenxiang, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy Secretary-General of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA), led a delegation to Pengsheng for research and guidance. The delegation was accompanied by Mu Huishu, Secretary-General of the Guangdong Institute of Certified Public Accountants; Zhan Guanpeng, Director of the Accounting Division of the Shenzhen Municipal Finance Bureau; Wu Weichen, First Secretary of the Shenzhen Financial Research Center; Sun Hongjun, Secretary-General of the Shenzhen Institute of Certified Public Accountants; Deputy Secretary-General Yang Mei; and Office Deputy Director Qiu Lifang. Our Chief Partner Yang Buxiang, Managing Partners Zhu Yiping and Chen Haiqiang, Partner Luo Yangui, Quality Supervision Department members Ouyang Zhuo and Yu Zibin, and Technical Training Department member Chen Youliang attended the symposium.    

Chief Partner Yang Buxiang warmly welcomed Deputy Secretary-General Wan Wenxiang and his delegation. He then briefly introduced Pengsheng’s development overview. He noted that Pengsheng, as the first accounting firm to expand beyond Guangdong Province, has been adhering to the “Hundred Cities, Hundred Firms” development blueprint, closely following the national Belt and Road Initiative, and has actively established overseas branches to pursue new international development. In addition to expansion, Pengsheng strictly controls quality assurance, risk assessment, and technical standards, and continues to increase investment in digitalization and information system development, thereby enhancing operational management and achieving high-quality development of the firm. Subsequently, Chief Partner Yang Buxiang expressed Pengsheng’s determination to strive toward becoming a “century-old brand firm” and thanked the association for its strong support in recent years.    

After listening to the introduction, Deputy Secretary-General Wan Wenxiang expressed his appreciation for Pengsheng’s development philosophy and noted that the name “Pengsheng” carries auspicious meaning. As a Shenzhen-based accounting firm born and raised locally, Pengsheng should leverage the responsibility of a leading firm to drive the development of firms in South China. In this process, it is essential to adhere to the principle of steady and sustainable development, regard risk management as a core element, and treat digitalization as an important channel for expansion, so as to achieve the long-term goal of becoming a “century-old brand firm.” Regarding internationalization, he emphasized that firms must have the willingness to go global, the courage to go global, and the capability to go global in order to compete internationally. Finally, Deputy Secretary-General Wan quoted Tagore: “Opportunities are like lightning—they always come to those who are prepared.” He encouraged Pengsheng to always be ready, seize development opportunities, strengthen and expand itself, represent Shenzhen in the global arena, and become a model and leader among local accounting firms.    

This research and symposium is of far-reaching significance for Pengsheng. With the guidance and support of various associations at all levels, Pengsheng has further clarified its development direction and goals. In the future, it will continue to improve its operational management capabilities and promote high-quality development across all aspects of its strategic layout.
