Our firm’s Chief Partner, Mr. Yang Buxiang, was invited to attend the Shenzhen High-quality Conference for the Certified Public Accountant and Asset Appraisal Industries.

To thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instruction delivered at the 40th Anniversary Celebration of the Establishment of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone—“benchmark against world-class standards, vigorously develop modern service industries such as accounting, and enhance the level and competitiveness of the service sector”—on December 22, the Shenzhen Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Shenzhen Asset Appraisal Association jointly hosted the Shenzhen Certified Public Accountants and Asset Appraisal Industry High-Quality Development Conference, with support from well-known accounting firms and asset appraisal institutions, which was grandly held at the Silver Lake Conference Center.

Wang Zhaochao, member of the Party Leadership Group of the Shenzhen Municipal Finance Bureau and full-time secretary of the Shenzhen Institute of Certified Public Accountants Party Committee, attended the conference and delivered a welcome speech. Wan Wenxiang, member of the Party Committee of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants, deputy secretary-general of the Institute, and member of the Party Committee; Dai Zhengying, deputy secretary of the Asset Appraisal Industry Party Committee of China, member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the China Appraisal Society; and Christopher Hui, Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, delivered guest speeches respectively. Yang Bushiang, chief partner of our firm, as a well-known representative of Shenzhen local accounting firms, attended the conference and appeared and spoke in multiple segments of the event.

During the key project signing ceremony, Chief Partner Yang Bushiang and Zheng Fading, head of the Hong Kong branch of Pengsheng (representing Pengsheng’s overseas branch institutions), jointly took the stage to sign, highlighting Pengsheng’s internationalization process while witnessing the important moment of the landing of key projects in Shenzhen.

In the keynote speech session featuring representatives of well-known institutions, Chief Partner Yang Bushiang of our firm delivered the opening speech as a representative of Shenzhen local accounting firms. He shared his thoughts and practices on achieving high-quality industry development from five aspects: brand building, talent team development, integrity awareness, informatization construction, and international development. In the roundtable forum session, Bai Xiaohong, Party Committee member and deputy dean of Shanghai National Accounting Institute, served as moderator. Liu Xuesheng, former secretary-general of the Shenzhen Institute of Certified Public Accountants; Deng Jianping, Party Committee member and deputy dean of Xiamen National Accounting Institute; Yang Bushiang, chief partner of Pengsheng Accounting Firm; Yang Liyan, chairwoman of Shenzhen Guofang Land and Real Estate Asset Appraisal Consulting Co., Ltd.; and Wang Zihao, financial and tax expert from Tencent CFO Office, together with other regulatory experts, academic scholars, and corporate representatives, discussed the development path of high-quality advancement of the accounting and appraisal industries from multiple perspectives.
