1678To gain an in-depth understanding of the firm’s development needs, on October 25, 2023, Wang Zhaochao, Member of the Party Leadership Group of Shenzhen Finance Bureau and Full-time Secretary of the Party Committee of the CPA Industry, Wu Weichen, Research Fellow of the Accounting Department, Lin Junju, Deputy Director of Futian District Finance Bureau, Mai Bingzhi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Municipal CPA Industry, and Liu Xuesheng, Secretary-General of Shenzhen Institute of Certified Public Accountants, visited our firm for research and guidance. He pointed out that most top 100 accounting firms are concentrated in Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and other regions. As a major economic province, Guangdong still has an insufficient share of top 100 firms, which is mismatched with its economic standing. Therefore, vigorous efforts are urgently needed to boost the growth of local accounting firms.
He stressed that accounting firms should focus resources on brand building. Brand development takes long-term accumulation, which relies on high-quality services and rigorous professional standards. He hoped that the Finance Bureau and the Institute would jointly hold seminars on brand development, pool wisdom from all parties to explore new models of collaborative development, and help expand and strengthen Shenzhen’s CPA industry.
