Institution-wide Lecture on State Council Document No.30 Held at Pengsheng CPA Firm

 Following the Management Partner and Branch Director meeting on June 4, Pengsheng Certified Public Accountants held the 2021 Shenzhen Regional Partner Conference on June 11.

       The meeting focused primarily on the firm's professional quality and risk control. First, Chief Reviewer Chen Youliang reported on the specifics of 2020 securities‑related business, and gave a thematic presentation covering three areas: Pengsheng's system documents, training status and plans, and business execution and quality management requirements. Subsequently, Chief Reviewer Yu Zibin, from the perspective of quality review and in light of prominent issues identified by the Shenzhen Securities Regulatory Bureau, shared insights on the importance of professional quality and how to prevent risks in business operations.

       Then, Chief Partner Yang Buxiang delivered a concluding speech. He pointed out that: first, the dual‑signature system for on‑site project managers and project partners must be strictly enforced; second, practices such as low fees and market disruption must be resolutely eliminated, and fee standards must refer to those set by the Institute of CPAs; third, the archiving of audit working papers must be completed as soon as possible, no later than June 30; fourth, the supervision and monitoring mechanism should be utilized, with periodic internal spot checks and cross‑audits conducted within the firm. He emphasized that in the CPA industry, all personnel must comply with professional ethics, be diligent and responsible, maintain professional skepticism, enhance the accuracy of risk assessments, increase the relevance and effectiveness of audit procedures, comprehensively strengthen quality management at both the firm and engagement levels, strictly control professional quality, and act as good gatekeepers of the capital market.

       Finally, the on‑site partners each spoke in turn, unanimously expressing that they would work even harder, prioritise professional quality and risk control, and strictly follow the headquarters' direction to make Pengsheng stronger and larger.

       Pengsheng held quality management and risk control meetings for two consecutive weeks, conveying the firm's professional ethos to every partner in a multi‑dimensional and comprehensive manner. This not only demonstrates Pengsheng's emphasis on professional quality, but further reflects the firm's reverence for the CPA profession and respect for the market.
