Advanced Seminar on Tax Matters of Corporate Mergers, Acquisitions and Restructuring Concluded Successfully

       In accordance with the requirements of the mobilization and publicity seminar on the "State Council Document No. 30 (Guo Ban Fa [2021] No. 30)" and the "end-to-end" training program organized by the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA), Pengsheng's Quality Control Department organized a training session on the document for the headquarters and all national branches on the afternoon of October 27, following their participation in the CICPA seminar.

       The training was conducted in a hybrid format, with CPAs at the headquarters attending in person and branch offices participating online, totaling over 300 participants. The trainers were Chen Youliang and Yu Zibin, Chief Reviewers of the Quality Control Department, and He Yanqiu, Director of the Technical Department.

      During the training, Chief Reviewer Chen Youliang pointed out that studying the "State Council Document No. 30" is an important task for every CPA. He urged all CPAs to recognize the situation, take responsibility, and complete the study of the document. Then, Director He Yanqiu interpreted the "State Council Document No. 30" and the draft amendment to the CPA Law, while Chief Reviewer Yu Zibin presented typical case studies. During the session, all on‑site participants listened attentively, took careful notes, and expressed that the training was of great significance and highly rewarding.

After the session, the instructors noted that the "State Council Document No. 30" is the first programmatic document issued directly by the General Office of the State Council since the reform and opening‑up to guide the reform and development of the CPA industry, fully demonstrating the Party Central Committee and the State Council's high regard for the healthy and steady development of the profession. As CPAs, we must seize the opportunities for industry development, continuously improve our capabilities, and contribute to the growth of the CPA profession.
